I'm an experienced Counsellor who offers short or longer-term Counselling for individuals 18 years and older with a wide range of issues.
I practice at The Jade Pathway Clinic Stapleford Cambridge.
I have daytime, evening and Saturday morning appointments available.
I am currently offering Face to Face Counselling. The clinic is small, quiet and personal which helps us to adhere to strict safety guidelines to manage Covid-19. Parking is available outside the clinic.
For Clients who are unable to attend Face to Face Counselling appointments I offer a online counselling service using either zoom or the telephone. This way of working has been particularly useful during the pandemic. It is helpful for Clients who have limited time, who are self isolating or who prefer to stay at home during this time.
I have a special interest in grief and loss, spirituality, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.
"Having good self-esteem and a good sense of self-worth can be the key to living a fulfilling and happy life".
I've worked for the Hertfordshire NHS Primary Care Trust and The Samaritans during my Counselling training. After qualifying I did additional training with Cruse Bereavement Care working with them as a Bereavement Support volunteer.
I use an integrated intuitive approach.
Integrated Counselling is when the Counsellor has been trained in all the 'main stream' Counselling approaches.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
The Intergrative Counsellor would use a mixture of all the approaches adapted to suit the needs of the Client.
I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Level 4 qualifying in 2011.
Online and Telephone Counselling Course completed in May 2020.
I am insured by Holistic Insurance Services.
I am a member of the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office)
My Counselling body is the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
